Nature Based Psychotherapy

Since almost 100% of our evolution has taken place in contact with nature, we are undoubtedly predisposed to love nature et be loved by it. We have a biological need to be in contact with it, and in the absence of a meaningful connection with nature (our true-self and natural elements of earth), our physical and mental health suffers and deteriorates. Ecotherapy, also called nature therapy, relies on contact with natural elements—trees, plants, water, rocks, fire, and air—to support the therapeutic process. This approach invites us to reconnect with our natural world, cultivating a more conscious and interdependend relationship with all living things. It's a way to remember who we are and our origins.
